Marketing Coordinator

Will lead a minimum of two to three proposals or other marketing efforts per month requiring extensive proofing/editing of technical writing. Other efforts will include prequalifications, presentations, coordination of trade show and conference participation, brochures and handouts, statements of qualifications, data collection and helping with the writing and editing of client deliverables. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or related field. Excellent writing, editing and grammar skills required. Must show a high attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills. Must be highly proficient in MS Office, with proficiency in Adobe programs (InDesign/Acrobat) preferred. Must be self motivated, team oriented, and possess the ability to work with professionals of varying levels in a deadline driven environment. Minimum of 2-5 years relevant experience required.

Job Title: Marketing/PR Coordinator (2008-068)

Description:

McKim & Creed, a top ENR, employee-owned, engineering, surveying and planning firm, is looking for a Marketing/PR Coordinator to join our talented marketing team. This position requires a self-directed person who values challenging work and a creative work environment to effectively support our marketing efforts. The successful applicant will manage and create persuasive presentations, proposals, and marketing materials; provide marketing communication support including assistance with news releases, brochures, advertising, etc.; plan and coordinate special events including tradeshows; plan and help implement internal/external marketing/PR campaigns; conduct primary/secondary research in support of overall company goals; and support corporate-wide marketing group as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
· College degree (Communications, English, Journalism or Marketing recommended)
· 3-5 years experience in a related field, preferably with desktop publishing responsibilities (InDesign experience a plus)
· Experience responding to RFPs and RFQs
Experience planning and implementing marketing/PR campaigns
· Positive, can-do attitude; flexible and self-motivated; able to work with minimum supervision
· Creative, well organized, and capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing and being proactive
· Ability to perform well under pressure within tight deadline situations
· Quality oriented with attention to detail
· Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with emphasis on superior persuasive writing

Marketing Co-ordinator -- Cary

Mulkey Engineers & Consultants, a multi-discipline civil engineering firm with offices throughout the Southeast, is looking for a Marketing Coordinator for their Cary, NC office.

The major outcomes to be accomplished by the ideal candidate include:

o Work with Branch Manager to develop and prepare proposals. This involves editing, formatting to meet graphic standards, ensuring that adequate QA/QC is performed on each proposal before it is delivered to the client, and deadlines are established and met.
o Update current project information and resumes.
o Customize government forms (SF254/255 and SF 330’s) for proposal submittals.
o Develop relationships with teaming partners and respond to their request for information.
o Assist with presentations, including development of PowerPoint presentations and written materials.
o Attend Business Development functions at the direction of the Branch Manager- ex. Chamber, professional organizations, etc.
o Oversee office related client development events and sponsorships.
o Serve as a resource for company’s graphic standards.

The pre-requisites for employment include:

o Marketing, Communications or English degree

o Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

Marketing co-ordinator (Raleigh) -- JDavis Architects

JDavis Architects, an award winning design firm with offices in Raleigh, NC and Philadelphia, PA is seeking a highly motivated Marketing Coordinator for our Raleigh, NC office.


The Position The preferred candidate will have experience in the architecture, engineering or construction industry, have organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to work on multiple projects and a “can-do” attitude. They will have excellent writing and editing skills, graphic design skills, and an eye for visual elements.
Willingness to learn, ask questions, work within a team environment and have a good sense of humor are key.
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing qualification packages/proposals, presentations, award submittals and other marketing collateral. This person will be responsible for creating and updating resumes/project cut sheets, updating company website, monthly newsletter, graphic design assignments, and will also be responsible for organizing monthly “Fun Day” activities.


Requirements
